Med's Wonderful
World of
Original Doll Clothes Patterns

Here
it is 2013, a new year and new projects. I am so excited to have
many new patterns in the works and will share them shortly. I'm
also working on getting the patterns to be available as downloadable
pdf files. Hopefully they will be ready in the near future. Thanks
for all your past interest and support. Happy sewing.
May I welcome you to a world of original doll clothes patterns
designed to fit the American Girl ® and most other 18" dolls.
So far, it seems that I am drawn to either early
1900 or 1940 styles for the dolls. I am also
sort of partial
to some
story
book characters.
I am seriously attempting to broaden my scope
of offerings. Hope you like them all. Let me
know what you think.
When my little
granddaughter, Sydney, said, "Gram'a is there a doll that's
easier to play with than Barbie ®?", the American Girl ® doll
became part of our family and I was off and running.
I have a background
in fashion design, pattern making, construction,
and tailoring so it just seemed natural that
I'd make clothes
for these dolls.

After
making many, many things for this doll, my good friend, Winona,
suggested that I make doll clothes patterns and sell them. Good
idea, Nona, here they are.
These
patterns may be made for resale on a small scale if credit
is given to me, Med Welch of Doll Clothes Patterns by Med, as
designer. Pattern is copyrighted and may not be copied and sold
in any fashion under penalty of the law.
Check
further on this site for my book of sewing tips,
my book of knit doll clothes patterns, and my book of doll-sized
patchwork quilts.
So,
get your beverage of choice, I'm thinking coffee
or tea, sit, and browse, you'll be so glad you did.

you have any questions, just send an email to me

Looking forward to hearing from you,
